We brought student basic needs to the forefront through consistent advocacy with the university and have created a committee to evaluate and better tackle access and education related to the financial needs of students.
Our volunteers work hard to provide a meaningful experience to our undergraduates and as such we were able to deliver year-round volunteer appreciation with discounts and giveaways.
To better deliver programming and services on our Waterloo campus we have changed the structure of the department and implemented a new Associate Vice President: Programming to provide the attention that our service committees and programming committees need respectively.
Finally, though we are ending the year in an unprecedented way. The Students’ Union has continued to communicate and interact with our undergraduate students and the university via Study and Thrive, Wilf’s programming and regular updates.
