Laurier 101 is collaborative initiative between the University and the Students' Union with the goal of providing incoming students with a holistic and streamlined transition to Laurier. Laurier 101 consists of pre-arrival programs such as Registration Webinars, Headstart and Online Orientation as well as Orientation Week. 
In its second year of a 3 year pilot, the Laurier 101 program was able to connect and engage with incoming students from the time they confirmed their offer, through Orientation Week and into their first academic year. Over 25% of the incoming class attended in person Headstart  and the interactive sessions and over 70% attended Orientation Week. Overall the Laurier 101 program enriched. 
The transition experience and helped to support Laurier students during their first year.
